Ragda Pav (Pav Ragda) is a popular street food. This ragda can be used with many chaat items like Pani Puri, Ragda Puri, Ragda Chaat, Ragda Patties and Dahi Ragda Puri. It made delicious light dinner when you have guests/friends over at your home.
 

Ingredients :
o 1 & 1/2 cup Dried Green Mutter (Peas)
o 1 large size Onion. Slices
o 2 Finely chopped tomato
o 3 tbs Oil
o 1 tsp Garam Masala
o 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
o 1 & 1/2 tsp Red chilly Powder
o 1 tsp Coriander & Cumin Powder
o 1 tsp whole cumin seeds
o 3 Medium sized potato (boiled and chopped)
o 1 tbs garlic ginger chili past
o Salt to taste
o 2 & 1/2 cup Water

For Serving
o Sweet Tamarind chutney
o Green Coriander Garlic chutney
o Sev
o Finley chopped Onion
o Finley chopped fresh coriander leaves


Preparation / Method:

o Soak dried green peas in water for overnight or at least 8 hours.
o Drain water. Add water, salt, Turmeric Powder and peas in pressure cooker and cook until it turns soft. (Generally 3 whistle)
o Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds, onion and ginger garlic chili past and saute for few seconds.
o Add chopped boiled potato in pan. Mix it well.
o Add chopped tomato in pan.  
o Add all seasoning and mix well.
o Cover the pan and let it cook for 2-3 minutes or until oil separates from masala.
o Now add boiled peas along with water.
o Add Garam masala and let it boiled for 5 mins.
o Delicious Pav ragda is ready to serve. Serve hot with pav with Servings (sev, onion, coriander leaves and chutney).
