Benzema, 30, has scored just five goals in all competitions this season, with Real having a miserable season.

Zidane’s men trail La Liga leaders Barcelona by a staggering 19 points.

And according to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Real are keen to offload Benzema this summer.

They add that Real president Florentino Perez has held talks with Chelsea over a deal involving the striker.

Diario Gol add that Real are keen to include Benzema in a player-plus-cash deal for Eden Hazard.

he Belgium international is a long-term target for the Spanish giants.

Hazard was tipped to join Real last summer but the winger broke his ankle, ending any chances of a Bernabeu move.

However, Diario Gol say Chelsea are desperate to keep Hazard and any deal for Benzema would not include the Stamford Bridge talisman.

Hazard and Chelsea were back in action last night as the Blues were hammered 4-1 by Watford.

Antonio Conte's Stamford Bridge future is now up in the air, with reports claiming the Italian could be sacked in the coming weeks.
