Arsenal Completes Deal With David Luiz & Kieran Tierney For a Total Sum Of Â£33M

Arsenal have announced the signing of defender David Luiz from Chelsea for £8million to complete a stunning deadline day deal.

After having two bids rejected by Celtic, Arsenal have signed Kieran Tierney for a fee of £25M ($30M) + add ons, a record transfer for a Scottish player.

Tierney has signed a 5-year contract paying a reported $90,000 a week after passing a medical. Tierney is currently recovering from a double hernia operation, his rehab is progressing ahead of schedule and he should be able to start full training in a week or two.

Tierney is one of four high-priced full backs signed by Premier League teams during this transfer window.

The 32-year-old Brazilian, David Luiz has penned a two-year contract with the Gunners after Blues boss Frank Lampard told him he was surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
