Bam Bam, an actress and reality TV celebrity, has described a disturbing experience with Nigerian police officers, calling their actions "inappropriate and forceful."

Bam Bam disclosed in a post on X (previously Twitter) that she was stopped by police without cause after finishing a filming session, told to get out of her car, and purportedly asked for money.

The actress expressed her unease and annoyance while wondering what would have happened if she had turned down their request.

She underlined that people should not feel harassed or frightened by law enforcement, but rather safe.

Bam Bam also emphasized the distinction between polite requests and coercive demands, emphasizing that gratuities should be earned by excellent service rather than being asserted as a right.

She wrote: "We were on our way home after wrapping up on a movie set when Nigerian police stopped us without cause, made us step down, and then began begging for money." This is what type of bullshit? What would they have done if we had refused?
