How Sola Allyson Faces Criticism for Leaving 'Jesus' Out of Her Music
Sola Allyson tearfully laments bullying over not mentioning ‘Jesus’ in her songs
After being severely bullied for allegedly failing to mention "Jesus" in her songs, gospel singer Sola Allyson has responded to her detractors.

After Dr. Panam Percy Paul disclosed that he turned down a £24 million offer in 1995 to keep the name of Jesus in his song, there was a backlash.

Allyson responded angrily to the criticism on X (previously Twitter), calling out her critics for being cruel and attempting to force their opinions on her.

She raised doubts about their motivations, speculating that they might be having issues with self-worth or using coercion to get approval from others.

Allyson wrote in a long post:

Did you know? You can comment on this post! Just scroll down

"Why are you people so cruel and heartless? I don't want to be associated with you at all if this is how you are with your own Jesus! Do you understand why sincere individuals who have had difficulties tend to distance themselves from you?

Or do you need to coerce them into joining you since you are sorely in need of some light-souls to fill your gloomy space? Or do you lack confidence and feel inadequate without me? For that reason, kò yé mi.

Or the Jesus that was shown to you is the one who seeks approval and has low self-esteem. Don't you realize that you've already failed? All these years? Before you see who I am, why must I be like your mothers and fathers? Have I asked to join you?

"Am I not leading my own path and making progress? I don't want to associate with evil people who publicly display "Jesus"! This behavior is ominous and heartless!

"This is bullying! This would never be done by the Jesus I know! When someone does this, they are only calling The Name, not of The Name! I don't want to associate with you manipulators and bullies! Leave me alone and confront your fellow conceited, shallow, and dishonest people!

Bullying got to Sola Allyson, cost her tears

In another post, she emphasized how the bullying from her fellow Christians caused her to shed a few tears before mustering the courage to respond.

"To @Folahanayo1 and his fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters in the business of manipulating other souls into joining their Jesus business, this is for you," she said on X in response to another critique.

"Once more, no one can coerce me into becoming a part of their darkness that appears to be light because it provides solace to lazy souls.

"Yes, I am a human. Sometimes it affects me. as of this now. due of my own personal difficulties. which I will undoubtedly outgrow, breaking the code of a more profoundly rewarding purpose. However, I can never be forced or coerced into becoming a shallow person.

"I don't want to be with Jesus like that. Go away from me. Take on your own path.

"I know someone who would never coerce someone into following him. And I am being the way He SAID I should be, and I will continue to radiate that light until I am allowed to be here. The light is àìlèkú. I hope that eyes will continue to open and that being will continue.

The artist has already come under fire for failing to specifically mention Jesus in her songs.
