Osun's PDP Senators Spark Controversy by Backing Tinubu for 2027!

Abuja All three of Osun State's senators, who were chosen on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have firmly declared President Bola Tinubu as their first and only choice for president in the general elections of 2027.

Under the auspices of the PDP's Osun State Senators' Caucus, the senators took this action.

The senators reaffirmed their unshakable support for President Tinubu's ongoing leadership in a joint statement signed yesterday in Abuja by Senators Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, PDP, Osun East; Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla, PDP, Osun Central; and Kamarudeen Lere Oyewumi, PDP, Osun West.

The senators' decision came after they overwhelmingly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office in 2027 during a strategic meeting yesterday.

The senators expressed their pride in representing a constituency that firmly supports President Tinubu's visionary leadership by stating that they support the President's transformative infrastructure projects and sound economic policies, which have already started to produce noticeable benefits, most notably the notable decrease in food prices and notable improvements in national security.

They urged the president to keep up his unwavering commitment to achieving even more for Nigeria's future.

"This overwhelming endorsement is a clear reflection of genuine confidence and satisfaction with President Tinubu's delivery of democratic dividends; it goes beyond mere symbolism," the statement said. The entire Osun Central community is steadfastly in support of this momentous move, and there isn't any legitimate disagreement among us.
