Defence Chief Urges Border Fencing: A Vital Move Against Rising Threats
Nigeria's chief of defense staff (CDS), Christopher Musa, has advocated for border wall as a means of enhancing national security.

Musa emphasized the necessity of efficient border control during his remarks at a security conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

He pointed out that rising insecurity has forced nations like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to fence their borders with Iraq and Afghanistan, respectively.

Musa emphasized the necessity of completely securing and establishing authority over the nation's borders, pointing out that rebels are targeting Nigeria because of its perceived wealth and wealth-producing natural resources.

"Other countries had to fence their borders due to the level of insecurity they have," he remarked.
