Branislav Ivanovic's goal assured Chelsea got to the Capital One Cup finals after playing over 180 minutes of football with Liverpool. Chelsea got a 1-1 draw at Anfield, thanks to goals from Eden Hazard and Raheem Sterling. The return leg at Stamford Bridge saw 90 minutes without a goal. A 30 minutes extra time would have gotten Chelsea to the finals on away goal advantage, but Willian's free kick was nodded into the net by Branislav Ivanovic and Chelsea sealed their position in the finals just few minutes into the extra time
