Australian surfing legend Mick Fanning fights off a shark by punching
Watch the video of the jaw dropping moment Australian surfing legend was attacked and knocked off his surfing board by a shark. The shark headed for him, and it would have been a huge disaster, but he had to fight back. I remember the old lessons about keeping calm when shark attack, and never to threaten it or try to run because one can never outswim a shark in water. Well, this guy fought the shark and won.

The three-time world champion, was knocked from his board by the shark just moments into the final round of the J-Bay Open in South Africa. The shark's fin emerged from the water before the shark lunged at Fanning. Fanning survived by fighting back.
