30 Years in Prison for a Facebook post? Thailand gotta be kidding me

A Thai man has been sentenced to 30 years in Prison for making a Facebook post that insulted the Thai Monarch. Pongsak Sriboonpeng, 48 was sentence by the military court, having been prosecuted under Thailand's royal defamation law.
The lawyer to the man who was sentenced said his client was supposed to get 60 years, 10 years for each of the six posts, but that his plea made the judge slash the time. Thailand gotta be kidding me
