Driving Instructor rapes and kills female Corps member in Ogun

Festus Udoh, A 29-year-old driving instructor, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for raping and killing a corps members serving in Ogun State, Tawose Modupe.

Modupe, a Batch ‘A’ corps members had enlisted at Lizzy Driving School in Abeokuta, under the tutelage of the suspect to learn driving.

The deceased corps member with code number, OG/17A/2854 left her house in Abeokuta with a message of going to the instructor, an indigene of Edo State for her permit.

She had since then went missing, prompting the authority of National Youth Service Corps in Ogun State, through a letter dated 12th December and signed by the state coordinator, Okpo John, informing the Ogun State Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, of the missing corps member.

Led by the Police boss, the suspect, Wednesday evening, took the police to the crime scene at Mawuko in Opeji Local Council Development Area, where the remains of the lady, with her two hands tied to trees, were already decomposing.

Some exhibits including passport size photographs of the suspect were seen at the scene.
