Senate Sends Col. Hameed Ali Out For Not wearing Uniform

The Senate on Thursday walked out the Customs Comptroller General, Col Hammed Ali from its chambers for not wearing uniform as directed......

He was instructed to return next Wednesday, March 22 in uniform.

Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekeremadu who queried the Comptroller General for not wearing his official uniform, while Ali replied that the letter sent to him did not request that he should wear his uniform.

Sen Yayi said the rules of the Nigerian Senate still stands on the issue of the uniform.

Sen Yayi says anyone can wear the Customs uniform and appear as the CG @CustomsNG

Hameed Ali has earlier said "no law against him for not wearing Uniform".
