Ramadan Unity: Tinubu Hosts National Leaders for First Iftar Celebration
At the State House in Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosted the first Iftar dinner of the Ramadan season on Monday, inviting state governors, ministers, and chiefs of paramilitary agencies.

Notable guests were Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and Rivers Governor Sim Fubara.

In Rivers State, where the Supreme Court recently decided in favor of the faction led by Speaker Martins Amaewhule, a Wike loyalist, their arrival coincides with ongoing political tensions.

The decision questioned Fubara's authority by restoring 27 pro-Wike MPs who had allegedly left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led Assembly.

The governor has responded by inviting the lawmakers to a meeting so they may talk about the court's ruling.
