Security Step Up: Tinubu Unleashes Helicopters Against Insecurity
Two trekker helicopters were introduced by President Bola Tinubu on Friday in an effort to address the nation's security issues.

At a ceremony in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima, acting on Tinubu's behalf, witnessed the aircraft's induction into the Nigerian Air Force fleet.

The 61st anniversary of the Nigerian Air Force was also marked by the aircraft's induction.

The purpose of the two helicopters, NAF544 and NAF545, is to increase the military's air power in order to address the issue of insecurity in the nation.

49 Additional Aircraft

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force will receive additional 49 aircraft by 2027.
