Breaking: Tinubu Returns to Lagos Amid Peter, Atiku Coalition Rumors

Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has confirmed that the coalition met Tuesday in Abuja.

President Bola Tinubu will return to Lagos State, according to El-Rufai, but his minister, Bosun Tijani, who is performing admirably, would be kept in the incoming government.

El-Rufai, Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar have endorsed the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, as the official platform of the opposition coalition, according to a report by DOROTV.

Following a meeting on Tuesday evening, the three are reported to have decided to adopt the party.

“They have adopted the African Democratic Party as the coalition party, all of them (Atiku, Obi, El-Rufai) are working together. The insider stated that they reached a decision last night until the wee hours of today morning.

"Yesterday at 8 PM, there was a very important meeting of the coalition we're putting together to ensure that President Tinubu goes back to Lagos," El-Rufai stated Wednesday while speaking to a crowd at the Arewa TechFest in Katsina.

"The minister is doing good work, so we will keep him even though we will still keep Bosun Tijani."
