Facebook user recounts her ordeal with the Coca Cola and Vitamin C fuss - blames her village people

Over the last 2 weeks, the internet has been flooding with the "Don't take Fanta with Vitamin C" advise. This is of course, as a result of NAFDAC's warning that taking Fanta or Sprite with Ascorbic acid could result in death. Many people trivialized this by saying that it was almost unlikely that anyone could take these drinks while popping Vitamin C pills. Some asked how they were expected to eat their Gala (Sausage rolls). A FAcebook user, Chinemerem Onuorah, humorously writes on how she almost took these two 'poisons'.

She writes:

"So that's how I carried my tooth pick legs, and entered a shop to drink a bottle of cold Fanta. When the Mama uncorked the drink, and I started drinking, she hovered around a bit. 
And then she said, "Heii Nne, you have catarrh o. Nye umuaka 20naira to go and buy you Vitamin C from the pharmacy across"... 😨(Give these children 20 Naira...)

I quickly stood up, and looked in the woman's direction. In my mind, I was saying to her " Mama, are you just an innocent shop owner, or are you their delegate? Asin, my village people decided to send you to do the do?"

I quickly finished that drink (while standing), and told the woman I'll buy the drug on my way.

I'm sprinting home now! Thank you Lord!

So, for those who think it's near impossible to get Fanta and Vit C together, remember this instance.
