Francis Osinachi James, known professionally as Placid, is a Nigerian singer who hails from Imo State and a graduate of Nutrition And Dietetics, Imo State University.

He is also often called by his nickname SLIMBOO after his track Baby Mama won the Song of the year Awards in Imo State 2020 and he emerged the youngest artist in Imo State.

He has hit tracks banging in his town such as Baby Mama, Diamond and Ohema. He's the next big thing to watch at for in Nigeria.
