Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has held a memorial service for the late United States President, Jimmy Carter.

Carter, a close supporter of Obasanjo, was given a funeral service on Sunday in the capital of Ogun State, Abeokuta.

Carter passed away in Plains, Georgia, USA, on December 29, 2024, at the age of 100.

He was the first American president to live to be 100 years old and the longest-living.
