Celebrities in Crisis: How Jumoke George's Story Reflects a Growing Trend

After disclosing that she is dealing with homelessness, illness, and the disappearance of her child, veteran actress Jumoke George has made a plea for assistance.

Jumoke revealed in an interview with Biola Bayo that since her first child, Adeola, vanished four years ago, she has been raising her grandchildren, facing health concerns, and living in a church.

Jumoke emphasized her desperation, adding she’s fatigued and in chronic pain, having accrued huge debt from medical testing.

"Mothers everywhere, please pray for me. Please offer up prayers for me. Nobody's life has ever been damaged by me. I'm exhausted and can't take it any longer.

"My child has gone missing, and I have nothing, including a house. My health is not good, and I am worn out. She remarked, "I live in the church, and the church mummy usually feeds me."

She now need N400,000 for more cardiac and brain testing.

"As a Christian, I have tried," she continued. For the past four years, Adeola, my firstborn child, has been missing. On May 1, Deola's time was 41. I'm in charge of providing food for the kids.

Since January 2, I have been ill, but I have done everything in my power to be a person. I'm not sure; after completing a number of tests, I want to pay N400,000 for brain and heart exams.

I have no idea where to find the funds.

I can't sleep because I'm in pain all the time. There's a problem with me. I no longer comprehend. That youngster has a lot of debt because of me.
