I have always dated guys much older than me – Beverly Osu

Beverly Osu, a model and Nollywood actress, has talked candidly about her dating habits and previous romantic relationships, stating that she has always been attracted to men who are much older than her.

Beverly said candidly, "I have always dated guys much older than me," on Chude Jideonwo's WithChude show. Do I have daddy issues? I doubt I'll refer to it as such. I believe that my father troubles are behind me.

Beverly made it clear that her preference for older relationships stems from her upbringing rather than unsolved personal problems. “I think I am surrounded by boys, and all the men in my life are confident,” she explained. “If we have to be together, you have to be that confident to be with my brothers that carry a chip on their shoulders.”

Beverly talked about the controversies surrounding her friendship with roommate Angelo while reflecting on her experience in the Big Brother Africa house. She acknowledged that her ease around him was misinterpreted and that she was incredibly in love. "The rumors started because I was so infatuated with Angelo and became too at ease with him," she claimed.

Beverly confirmed that nothing improper occurred during the reality show, despite what the public may believe. "There are those who accept me for who I am. The fact that I didn't do it is the best part of it. I was twenty years old. Other than that [my friendship with Angelo], I brought out a lot of things from Big Brother," she remarked.

Emotionally, she concluded, "God's greatest gift, love, is the reason for every issue I have faced in my life. He had captured my heart. I felt free around him for that reason. I was dating, so should we tie the knot? I had fallen in love.
