BBNaija's Tacha and the UK Snub: What's Behind the Backlash? [VIDEO]

Natasha Anita Akide, also known as Tacha, is a media personality and former Big Brother Naija reality star. She has criticized Nigerians in the UK for publicly ignoring her.

Nigerians don't applaud her when they see her, the reality star, who recently moved to the UK, bemoaned.

Tacha cautioned Nigerians in the UK to stop filming her anytime they encounter her if they refuse to greet her in a video message posted on her social media website.

"You guys wouldn't believe how many Nigerians I saw today, which was fantastic," she said. The most absurd thing, though, is that they would see you and refuse to greet you.

"I can't even begin to count the number of white people who congratulated me today, including an elderly man and a high school student. The absurd thing is that when the Nigerians saw me today, their first instinct was to grab their phones and record me.


Let me warn you: it's okay if you don't say hello to me if you see me on the road. I don't require greetings from others, and I won't greet you either. However, don't record me with your phone.
