Musician Spyro has defended Nengi Hampson, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, who has been embroiled in pregnancy rumors connected to a state governor.

Gistlover, a gossip blog, said that Nengi was expecting a kid with the governor, which sparked the dispute. Nengi swiftly put an end to the rumors, announcing her pregnancy and categorically denied any connection to a politician.

On his Instagram, Spyro, who has previously acknowledged having a crush on Nengi, expressed his support for her.

In an emotional statement, he called on opponents to stop assaulting Nengi and instead concentrate on their own life, calling her unborn child "a big gift from God."
