VIDEO: Iyabo Ojo returns to Nigeria for second phase of daughter’s wedding

After traveling to Tanzania to witness the first stage of her daughter Priscilla's wedding, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, often referred to as Queen Mother, has returned to Nigeria.

The actress, who has been posting on social media about how excited she is for her daughter's wedding, thanked her sisters and close friends for throwing a surprise welcome home reception.

"I'm speechless!" she wrote in a video that was shared on Instagram on Sunday. I had assumed that I was the lone "extra," but my sisters and friends really went above and beyond! This unexpected get-together was everything and more! I never saw that coming, and I'm still in disbelief!

"I want to thank all of you for this fantastic, heartfelt, and pleasant surprise! I sincerely appreciate it. May God bless everyone! I adore you all!

According to a report by DoroTV Online earlier this month, Priscilla married Tanzanian artist Juma Jux in a customary wedding that followed the groom's traditions.

Juma Jux then proposed to Priscilla a second time in front of her "family and dearest friends and with a ring twice the size."

"Three done and dusted, three to go!" the actress posted on Instagram following the couple's civil wedding in Tanzania. Nigeria, prepare! In April, we will be closing two ceremonies! It’s going to be Epic!”

Iyabo Ojo declared that the second phase of the celebrations will begin in April, with both traditional and white weddings scheduled to take place in Nigeria, as the family continues to commemorate the union.

The grand finale party would be held in Tanzania in May, she further disclosed.

She commented, "I will always be thankful to everyone who traveled in to celebrate the lovely union of my son, Juma, and daughter, Priscilla! All the credit for the three-part celebration goes to God. It was a huge success.

The traditional and white weddings in Nigeria in April and the spectacular closing celebration in Tanzania in May are our next two thrilling events! I hope we live to see our kids celebrate their own achievements.
