Money hurts more than heartbreak now - Toke Makinwa

Media celebrity Toke Makinwa has talked candidly about a significant change in her emotional priorities, stating that money problems now affect her more than heartbreak.

"At my age, money is the only thing that makes me sad, not love or heartbreak," Toke posted on Instagram.

The fashion-forward media personality tagged and thanked her hairstylist and jeweler for the glitzy look in the same post, where she showcased a sleek high ponytail and sparkling jewelry.

Only a few months have passed since Toke stated on her podcast Toke Moments that she might be amenable to being married again, even as a second, third, or fifth wife. "To be honest, if I have the chance to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife at this stage of my life, I will do so," she said.

Toke Makinwa's previous marriage to fitness guru Maje Ayida ended in divorce in 2017 due to accusations of adultery.
