Security personnel and local officials reported that during the demolition, they discovered a shrine, military camouflage, including weapons and ammunition, and more than thirty well-partitioned graves downstairs of the building.
However, since the authorities had not spoken, it was impossible to formally determine whether a body had been discovered in the grave or whether anyone had been arrested at the aforementioned hotel.
Ken Emeakayi, the state governor's special adviser on community security, declined to comment when questioned about the situation. Instead, he instructed our correspondent to get confirmation from the governor's press secretary.

The Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also called "La Cruise Hotel," was allegedly a gathering place for kidnappers and other criminal elements, according to a statement posted on the Anambra State New Media X (previously Twitter) account on Saturday.
"Oba, Idemili South LGA!," the statement said, adding that the hotel had more than thirty tombs that were well-partitioned. destruction of the kidnapers' hideout along Onitsha-Owerri Road, which was posing as the Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also known as "La Cruise Hotel."

"Yes, the hotel was demolished in accordance with the Anambra State Homeland Security Law, which mandates that any building or structure found to be housing criminals or connected to the kidnapping issue be taken down," Aburime added.
"Reliable information from worried citizens regarding the questionable activities occurring there led to the raid.
Graves were discovered on the hotel's ground floor during the security personnel's raid, along with military camouflage, pistol cartridges, and other items. There were also a lot of damning objects discovered there.
According to the statute that the state had approved, the building had to be demolished regardless of who owned it if it was connected to any criminal activity or kidnapping issues.
Regarding if any arrests were made or whether bodies were recovered at the graves, I am unable to comment at this time. He stated that investigations are still under progress and that any new information will be shared when it becomes available.

A kidnapper's refuge in a brothel in Akwu-Ukwu Oba, in the Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, was busted by the Agunechemba Security Squad on Saturday.
Following a tip from locals, the operation resulted in the arrest of five local prostitutes and two accused kidnappers.
In accordance with Anambra State's Agunechemba Security Laws, the security personnel promptly destroyed the one-story structure that contained the abductors and sex workers.
According to a group operator who wished to remain anonymous, "We learned that some young males had been frequenting the brothel, coming late at night and departing early in the morning,
"We monitored them, and our team moved in and captured them after verifying the information."
The agent also affirmed that several gang members are still at large and promised to find them.
