He claims that eight fake AK-47 rifles, four fake revolver weapons, three fake semi-automatic pistols, two rounds of 7.88 mm live ammo, and one locally manufactured handgun were found within the syndicate.

According to him, the suspects were also found to have 1,105 AK-47 live rounds and two AK-47 magazines.

Building on the operation's momentum, Adejobi said, IRT agents detained two more syndicate members on January 28.

Adejobi said that more was being done to catch the fugitive gun maker and others who are making firearms and distributing them to the wrong people in the nation.
