Actress Pat Ugwu tragically died at the young age of 35, bringing tragedy to the Nollywood film industry.

Her coworker Emeka Okoye announced her passing on Instagram on Wednesday, along with a funeral poster detailing the specifics of her last farewell.

"Sis, rest in peace. Pat ugwu. @patpat_ugwu, so we're not able to resume work? Why death? Please, God. Peace be with you, PAT. He wrote, "May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord."

"Please, God, keep all of my coworkers safe, especially the ones I'm close to." This strange death is awful. This 2025, I declare life in the priceless blood of Jesus to everyone who is near me. Amen.

"Jesus noooooo," commented Destiny Etiko, another Nollywood celebrity.

The wake is set on Thursday, February 6, 2025, and Pat's burial is set for February 7, 2025.
