Award-winning actress, musician, content producer, and show host Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilor, also known as KieKie, revealed her latest project, KieKie Unscripted Experience, to the world on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
To introduce her idea, which combines a thrilling game show with a talent show, the 35-year-old mother of one had an amazing premiere.
KieKie and her team launched the show with a spectacular event that included several industry heavyweights, including Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Wunmi Toriola, Broda Shaggi, Lasisi Elenu, Nancy Isime, and Mr. Macaroni, after a year-long break owing to significant technical issues.

Numerous Nigerian celebrities and content producers gathered to celebrate with KieKie, and the entire property—which houses the well-known Filmhouse IMAX on Rock Drive inside Lekki Phase I—was bustling with activity. After the first episode of "KieKie Unscripted Experience" was screened for the more than 150 guests in attendance, the actors and crew took a bow.

The show was something I made. I wrote the play in a single night, and my husband, who is always encouraging, thought it was unique and clever when I showed it to him. During the press conference to promote the show, she stated, "The concept was developed from some of the things I had done in the past as well as giving back and giving a platform for entertainers in all forms."
Before presenting her performance to the public, "KieKie Unscripted Experience" begins with a montage of KieKie playing drums with a band. Along with the show's various segments comes the talent hunt, where young artists can showcase their skills and the live audience votes to choose who advances to the next round. After a beat blasting from the car, a short performance by talented people, primarily vocalists, takes place in another portion sponsored by Mikano Cars. In addition, KieKie's celebrity friends and coworkers participate in other games on the show. The cook, drink, and vibe portion follows, in which KieKie serves as the judge and two chefs compete against one another.
The show is unique and heavily influenced by KieKie, and it promises to reward talent.
