Celebrating African Creativity: Bridging the Gap Between Talent and Recognition
African creativity is everywhere, but when it’s time for recognition, we’re sidelined — Juice
African artists have long influenced pop culture around the world, from visual arts to fashion and music. However, many of them are still unknown despite their indisputable impact. Chukwudi Charles “Juice” Ezeani, a music producer and industry insider, is addressing this issue directly in his new documentary, The Silent Struggle.

Juice has long helped up-and-coming artists and is well-known for his work with the Producers Bootcamp. The goal of his new documentary is to highlight the structural obstacles that keep African artists in the background while the rest of the world benefits from their talent.

Juice claims, "African creativity is everywhere, but we're sidelined when it comes to recognition." His film investigates why, in spite of their influence on international trends, African designers, producers, and artists frequently face barriers to recognition and financial gain.
