Today, Wednesday, March 5, First Bank will hold the groundbreaking ceremony for its landmark new green-certified head office building in Lagos' Eko Atlantic City.

The 40-story skyscraper project is intended to be the highest structure in Nigeria, according to a statement made by Olayinka Ijabiyi, Ag. Group Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications, First Bank of Nigeria Limited.

According to the statement, "its technologically advanced, eco-friendly, and sophisticated construction will be an engineering and environmental delight and set a new standard for the financial services sector in Africa."
