Drama in Ebonyi: Governor Nwifuru Cracks Down on Commissioners!

Among the impacted commissioners are Felix Igboke (Project Monitoring), Uchenna Igwe (Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters), Victor Chukwu (Environment), Ifeanyi Ogbuewu (Culture and Tourism), Professor Omari Omaka (Tertiary Education), and Moses Ekuma (Health).

Ilang Donatus, the Chairman of the State Executive Council Committee on the Izzo and Amaze Housing Project, commented on the situation and said that the officials' and contractors' noncompliance with the conditions of the contract was the reason for the action.
Donatus pointed out that the housing project, which Governor Nwifuru had intended to commission to commemorate his second anniversary in office, is being delayed by the bureaucrats.
Donatus highlighted the governor's dissatisfaction with the construction's sluggish progress, pointing out that the housing effort was intended to aid those affected by social difficulties.

Mrs. Maria Okohu, a member of the Executive Council Committee and Special Assistant to the Governor on Women Mobilization (Ebonyi Central), added to the worries by calling the scenario a sabotage.
