Following violent protests by citizens in Burundi over the country's President, Pierre Nkurunziza's decision to run for 3rd term in office, someone from Burundi has tweeted that the government of that country has blocked Whatsapp and Viber access.

The Government did this because they believe that protesters use these to communicate among themselves as well as convince others to engage in the protest.
