This is becoming a battle between the Ekiti State Government and the entire Fulani Herdsmen, due to the anti-grazing movement by the state governor, Ayodele Fayose.

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigerian (MACBAN), an association of herdsmen in Nigeria, has warned that the anti-grazing activities of Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, may degenerate into an unquenchable inferno if not curtailed.

Governor Fayose last week inaugurated Ekiti Grazing Enforcement Marshals whose responsibility it is to arrest herdsmen who graze their cattle in areas that are not designated for such activities.
