HEALTH UPDATE: Very Soon Gonorrhea Might Become Incurable

There is a warning from the World Health Organisation that antibiotic resistance could make gonorrhoea almost impossible to treat.

Doctors say the sexually-transmitted bacteria has become particularly clever, quickly evolving to outsmart all known drugs used to fight them.

So-called "super gonorrhoea" is now being reported and there is widespread resistance to older and cheaper antibiotics.
