Abba Kyari and Oyo-Ita resolved their alleged misunderstanding today at Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, HoS, Winifred Oyo-Ita on Wednesday resolved their alleged misunderstanding, following the leaked memo on the sacked former Pension Chairman, Abdulrasheed Maina.

Photographs posted on the Presidency’s official Twitter handle, on Wednesday showed both top government officials hugging and laughing during today’s Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting.

Oyo-Ita, who had arrived the Council chamber before Kyari, had also approached the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo smiling as she greeted him.

Reports had it last week that a heated argument ensued between Oyo-Ita and Kyari during last week’s FEC meeting in the presence of the Vice President.

The said argument by both top officials was said to have been linked to the leaked memo Oyo-Ita wrote to Kyari claiming that Buhari was aware of the reinstatement of Maina.
