Wizkid and Davido are among the nominees for the 2025 NAACP Award.

Popular Nigerian musicians Tems, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido have all been nominated for the 2025 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the artists were nominated in the list of nominees for the annual event that was made public by the organizers.

On February 22, the Pasadena Civic Center in California, the United States, will host the 56th NAACP Image Award.
For their song "Coming Home," Burna Boy and American musician Usher were nominated for "Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (Contemporary)"; however, "Hmmm" Davido and Chris Brown were nominated for "Outstanding International Song."

Wizkid's smash song "Piece of My Heart," which features American artist Brent Faiyaz, is also vying for the same category.
Tems, a talented female vocalist, was nominated for "Best International Song" for "Love Me Jeje," which is taken from her debut album "Born in the Wild."

South African Grammy winner Tyla received a nomination for "Outstanding New Artist," while Ayo Edebiri achieved an unusual accomplishment with five nominations, including "Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series" and "Outstanding Voiceover."

The NAACP Image Awards honor exceptional portrayals and accomplishments of people of color in literature, music, film, and television.

The 2025 edition's award presentation, which will highlight diversity in the entertainment business with the subject "Our Stories, Our Culture, Our Excellence," will be televised live on BET and CBS.
