From Vigil to Joy: Adeniyi Johnson's Triumph Over Turmoil

Adeniyi Johnson, an actor, has discussed his ten-year quest to become a father.

He revealed his touching narrative, which encompassed two marriages and years of hope and perseverance, in a conversation with Kunle Afod.

Adeniyi married Oluwaseyi Edun in 2018 after his previous marriage ended in childlessness after three years.

They spent seven years together praying for God to grant them a child.


Their efforts paid off in February 2023 when a boy and a girl were born as twins.

"The vigil was much," he remarked. However, we give thanks to God for turning what one has been grieving over into happiness. It is a ten-year wail. For ten years, I waited. For seven years, the twins' mother and I had been looking for God's face in a kid. God indicated he wanted to give me twins as a gift when the time came. "How do I proceed?" he asked.

"I am always thrilled to see them climbing on top of me while I am at home. I'd like to thank God. While others purchase diapers for a single child, we purchase two. We give thanks to God for his provision. They eat well, too.

"We refused to let age get to us. And we are grateful that we do not appear to be what we have been through.
