Abroad-Based Nigerian Lady Bemoans Sizes Of Nigerian Snacks

 

A Nigerian woman living overseas has expressed her unhappiness with the snack sizes available in Nigeria.

In a video posted to her Instagram account, she expressed her surprise at the small size of snacks in Nigeria compared to her memories from when she lived there.
Sharing her story, she added that she had requested a friend who was visiting Nigeria for the "Detty December" festivities to bring her some Nigerian delicacies so she could reconnect with her roots and reminisce about her youth.

To her astonishment, the snacks were much smaller, including cookies, candies, and fried peanuts.

"Na that burger peanuts pain me pass," she moaned.

In other developments, a London resident told the experience of his Nigerian colleague, Yusuf, who was abandoned by his wife after he worked tirelessly to support her legal education.

The Londoner presented this incident as a cautionary tale, warning against the habit of elevating a spouse, especially when there is a considerable social discrepancy.

He recalled that at his former job, his Nigerian coworker was known for his unwavering work ethic, frequently putting in extra hours without rest.

On one occasion, he enquired about Yusuf's unwavering dedication to his career, wondering why he always took on extra shifts.

Yusuf mentioned that his efforts were directed toward providing for his family and addressing their necessities.

However, when the Londoner came at work, he discovered that Yusuf was absent. When he inquired about his location, he discovered that Yusuf's wife had left him after receiving her law degree.

She reportedly told him that now that she was a lawyer, she no longer regarded herself on the same level as him, while he remained an ordinary man.

The Londoner stated that this change of events caused Yusuf to suffer with his mental health, eventually resorting to drink for comfort.
