Behind the Glam: Tonto Dikeh Dishes on Celebrities' Secret Lifestyles

Tonto Dikeh exposes secret lifestyle of Nigerian celebrities

Tonto Dikeh, a controversial Nollywood actress, has cautioned her fans against falling for the ostentatious lifestyles that some of her coworkers depict on social media.

On Thursday, the actress revealed this on Instagram and also revealed how most celebs use social media to fool their naive fans.

The actress remarked, "Don't be duped or under pressure to live in luxury."

"I know both men and women who go overseas once a year and take photos to post on Instagram for a year (releasing them gradually to give the impression that they travel daily!)."
We get the impression that they travel in style every second since I know men and women who change four times on a single trip while wearing pajamas for photos and share them on social media.

"This is not meant as a joke, but the message is to never want someone else's life, and to not be scared by someone else's success. You never know, you might be more valuable than the life you desire or envy!

Tonto's most recent assertions coincide with a University of Pennsylvania study that found social media use exacerbates loneliness and depression.
Fans' reactions to the tweet have also been divided, with some accusing the actress of committing the same crime she is advocating against.

However, Tonto is not the only Nollywood star to criticize her peers for flaunting themselves on social media.

Actress Iyabo Ojo and comedian Alibaba have both criticized their peers for deceiving their fans by showing off their lavish lifestyles on social media.

A number of Nigerian celebrities have shown off their expensive cars and fancy residences that they allegedly purchased in recent weeks.

The newest automobile owners in Nollywood are actress Nkechi Blessing and Yoruba actor Olatayo Omokade, also known as Ijebu.

To the delight of their followers, they have shared pictures of their most recent acquisition on Instagram.

Fans have begun to wonder where their income comes from as a result of their frequent Instagram boasts.

This is not unrelated to the fact that the Yoruba film business produces a lot of films, but its professionals are said to receive the lowest compensation.
