Why Gee Ovadoz's Name Change Marks a New Era in Music
Udeogu Godwin, also known as Gee Ovadoz, is a rising Afrobeat singer who has declared a name change on all music distribution channels and social media.
The multi-talented artist announced in a chat that he would now be known as "Gee Ovadoz" instead of "Gee Ovadose," making the shift public.
“Recently, we have received complaints regarding the difficulty of locating me on social media platforms due to the preconceived notions associated with ‘Overdose.’” He explained the rationale behind the adjustment. Changing the letters, in my opinion, will aid in overcoming this stigma.

The singer, songwriter, and producer has made more references to his goals and upcoming projects as the new year gets underway.
"I promise you that my new song, which will be released in late February, is outstanding. Get your gadgets ready appropriately," Gee Ovadoz added.
Gee Ovadoz grew up in Anambra State's Onitsha. He was raised in Kaduna and Bayelsa for a few years before completing his secondary education at Nkem Comprehensive in Fegge.
