Zamfara Fire Disaster: Tinubu’s Heartfelt Tribute to 17 Young Lives Lost

President Bola Tinubu has sent heartfelt condolences to parents, guardians, and families who lost loved ones in a fire outbreak that stretched into an Islamic school in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, on Tuesday night.

In a statement sent on Wednesday and signed by his media assistant Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu expressed his condolences to the state government and the school's proprietors. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those undergoing medical treatment.

The President instructed regulatory bodies in the education sector to guarantee adherence to safety regulations and ordered all public and private schools to put children's safety and security first at all times.

He asked God Almighty to comfort their loved ones and give the deceased's souls eternal repose.

The fire that broke out at an Islamiya school claimed the lives of at least 17 youngsters.

Abdulrasaq Bello Kaura, a local neighbor, stated that 16 other pupils were hurt in the fire that began on Tuesday night.
