Ogulu has previously received notice on a global scale. Her status as a dominant force in music management was further cemented in 2022 when she took home the Manager of the Year award from the Artist & Manager Awards in London.

Ogulu, a linguist and cultural advocate, graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages and a Master of Arts in Translation. Her father, Benson Idonije, was a well-known Nigerian music critic and the first manager of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, therefore she comes from a family steeped in the arts. Ogulu herself used to dance in the background for Fela.

Fluent in English, French, German, Italian, and Yoruba, she had a prosperous career as a translator for the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce before to entering the music management industry.

Her strategic leadership has secured significant transactions and international recognition, which has contributed to Burna Boy's success on a global scale. She also co-founded Spaceship Collective, a platform that promotes African musicians and broadens the appeal of Afrobeats around the world.
