International Crime Ring Busted: German Police Crack Down on Human Trafficking
Following 150 officers conducting raids on a brothel, residences, and stores in the states of Hesse and Baden-Württemberg, German police detained three Chinese nationals on suspicion of smuggling prostitutes on Wednesday.
The three suspects, who were also charged with tax evasion, were being held in Wiesbaden, according to the public prosecutor's office.
Two ladies, ages 29, 49, and 61, as well as one guy were taken into custody.
They are highly suspected of harboring and hiring a large number of Chinese women as prostitutes from February 2020 to December 2024.
In a statement, prosecutors claimed that despite the fact that they lacked residency permits that would have allowed them to work in Germany,

It is believed that the 29-year-old and the 61-year-old operated the brothel jointly.
