Video: Burna Boy joins Dangote to break Ramadan fast

During Ramadan, billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote invited Burna Boy and music boss Cecil Hammond to his home for Iftar.

Burna Boy, wearing a durag and a navy blue two-piece attire, is seen mingling with Dangote and other guests in a widely shared video from the event.

Hammond hinted at his involvement in arranging the meeting when he posted a picture to Instagram with the remark, "Bringing the legends together, one smile at a time."

This comes after billionaire Femi Otedola invited Burna Boy, Hammond, and Wizkid at another high-profile event last week. Interacting with Afrobeats giants is a "true privilege," according to Otedola.

One of the most well-known performers in Nigeria, Burna Boy, rose to prominence with Like to Party (2013) and took home a Grammy in 2021 for Twice As Tall.
