Nasboi begins 36-day nationwide plea for Davido’s collaboration

In an attempt to land a song with Afrobeats legend Davido, singer and comedian Lawal Michael, better known by his stage name Nasboi, has started a 36-day campaign.

On Instagram, Nasboi declared his intention to kneel every day throughout the 36 states of Nigeria, beginning in Osun State, where he and Davido both reside.

He relocated to Kano State on Thursday, the second day of his public request for a verse from the performer he names "001."

"I began imitating Davido in 2019 to get his attention for my music, but the videos really made me a star as a comedian," he added. (The plan of God)

Nasboi's journey started in 2019 when he promoted his music by imitating Davido's voice and demeanor in skits called "Low Budget OBO."

He became well-known as a comedian thanks to the videos, and he was able to land acting parts like Akpan and Ikechukwu.

Nasboi has pursued music despite his success in comedy, as seen by songs like "Small Money," "Short Skirt," and the viral song "Umbrella" alongside Wande Coal.
