I’m not a crossdresser, says Zicsaloma

Comedian Zicsaloma has commented about his humorous identity, refuting rumors that he is a crossdresser.

He stressed that his representation of women in skits is solely for amusement purposes and does not reflect his own life.

Zicsaloma emphasized that dressing up as a woman is a comedy choice, not a lifestyle or advocacy, and he challenged anyone who confused his skits with real-life crossdressing.

He emphasized that his ability to imitate females is a humorous asset, and he does not require makeup to deliver comedy.

"I am not a crossdresser; I simply dress like a lady for contentment. I don't even wear makeup—not that I can't perform comedy without it. Mimicking females is my humorous strength.

"Some people are adept at impersonating other characters, such as a typical Hausa man. "Are you saying I influenced popular crossdressers—I won't name names—who heavily dress as women and attend events in gowns?" he said.
