Imo State Election Resheduled
While some results are being read out in almost every state of Nigeria, Imo state in particular has no candidate celebrating yet. Although the incumbent Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has an edge with 79,529 lead, the cancelled votes which are 144,715 could still win election for either candidate.

The APC candidate polled 385,671, while the PDP candidate, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, polled 306,142.

Returning Officer in Imo state, Prof. Ibidapo Obe, said they were declaring the election inconclusive and said a new date for new election in the wards in the different LGAs where the votes were cancelled will be announced soon.
