Why Wike's Plan to Lead Tinubu's 2027 Campaign Matters for Nigeria's Future

Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory's (FCT) minister, has said that he will spearhead President Bola Tinubu's 2027 campaign.

Speaking in Abuja on Monday, Wike hinted that he might spearhead the All Progressives Congress' (APC) presidential campaign in the upcoming election.

Wike responded, "I have told you this before, is it because I am in Asiwaju's presidency?" when asked if he would spearhead the APC campaign in 2027.
