Wife of Late Obafemi Awolowo dies at age 99

The matriarch of the great Awolowo family, Chief Mrs Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo, the wife of Chief Obafemi Awolowo ( The face on Ten Naira) died early yesterday, September 19, at Ikenne, Ogun state. She was born on November 25, 1915, that means she was just two months to turning 100, but we thank God for her life; and pray that her soul will rest in peace, Amen.
