World Stands with France - Criticism from Citizens of Terrorized Countries
It would be normal for most countries to show solidarity and stand with France at a time like this, in an attack that saw close to 130 people dead and many others injured. Both French citizens and the entire social media are sending out their commiserations to the families that were affected. Facebook activated Safety Check for Paris while the CEO Mark Zuckerberg immediately changed his profile picture with a filter of French Flag. The option was quickly rolled out to other users who immediately changed their profile pictures.

Then the criticism started pouring in. Why always France? This same global solidarity was seen during the Charlie Hebdo attack. But there are other countries that have suffered worse. Why didn't Facebook activate Safety check for them? Why not the Flag filter option?
